Among the thousand ways to support the Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner, there are some incredible initiatives that have left a lasting impression with their infectious enthusiasm and the chain of solidarity they have sparked.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

J\u00e9r\u00f4me Merker – skipper<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The project: MINI TRANSAT 2023<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I am proud to have been able to associate the Mini Transat project with the cause of Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the father of a young child, this cause is particularly close to my heart, and I admire the work of the foundation, which provides daily support to families of children with cancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The start of the Mini Transat coincided with \u2018Golden September\u2019, a month dedicated to raising awareness of childhood cancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Children with cancer must show enormous courage in this long, solitary battle. There is a saying that goes, \u2018Alone at sea, but united on land.\u2019 <\/strong> Once I was alone at sea, I thought very hard about all those children. I now know that it is only by showing solidarity that we can improve their conditions: together against childhood cancer.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thibaut Van den Heuvel – Cyclist<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The project : Through mountain&valley<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the age of 22, Thibaut is a childhood cancer survivor and, above all, a passionate cyclist. With his book \u2018Avec Thibaut dans la montagne et au-del\u00e0 des vall\u00e9es\u2019 <\/strong>(With Thibaut in the mountains and beyond the valleys), he took us on his bikepacking adventure from Luxembourg to the south of France, a human adventure that continued during the promotion of his book for a year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

S\u00e9bastien Condemi – Un geste pour Evalentine<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The project: Auctions of sports jerseys and other collectibles<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

S\u00e9bastien Condemi and a group of friends launched \u2018Un geste pour Evalentine\u2019<\/strong> to continue the fight for children with cancer.
The project: Auctions of sports jerseys and other collectibles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018The concept was developed on social media to auction off sports jerseys and other collectibles. Once a year, we also organise a Supercar experience.<\/strong> In addition to the experiences offered to families and children with cancer, lots of guests always attend and the day is always a great success.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guy Christen – Hiker<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The projet: The Triple Crown<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

After successfully hiking the Pacific Crest Trail in 2019 and the Continental Divide Trail in 2022, Guy Christen completed his third American trail by hiking the Appalachian Trail. Each feat he accomplished helped to support the Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2018During your hike, did you think about the journey of the children and their families who also have to travel a long way to get through another tunnel? Very often, especially during my lowest moments, I thought about them. My pain was nothing compared to theirs, and I refused to give up. The children and their families are my driving force.\u2019 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
